Paying with USDT (Tether)
Last updated: 25 July 2026
USDT is the default way to pay aigifted.store. Send it on the TRC20 (Tron) network, where a transfer costs about one dollar and confirms in one to two minutes. USDT on ERC20 also works but can cost three to twelve dollars in gas, which is disproportionate for a $24 purchase.
- Typical fee
- ~$1 on TRC20, $3–12 on ERC20
- Confirmation
- 1–2 minutes on TRC20
What to watch for
- Choose the network on the invoice page before you send, and match it exactly in your wallet or exchange.
- USDT is dollar-pegged, so the amount cannot move against you while the payment confirms.
- Most peer-to-peer desks in North Africa, Nigeria and Pakistan quote in USDT, which is why it is the practical default.
Questions
Is TRC20 or ERC20 better for a $24 payment?
TRC20. It costs roughly one dollar against three to twelve dollars on ERC20 and confirms faster. Use ERC20 only if your exchange cannot withdraw on Tron.
What if I send USDT on the wrong network?
Funds sent to an address on an unsupported network are usually unrecoverable. Copy the network from the invoice page rather than assuming, and test with a small amount if the sum matters.
