No. As of July 2026, OpenAI does not issue an official ChatGPT gift card for ChatGPT Plus, Pro or Team. Every product marketed as a “ChatGPT gift card” is really a prepaid card voucher, an API credit code, or an account-access service. Only the first two are safe to buy.
Why do so many stores sell one, then?
“ChatGPT gift card” is a high-volume search term built on a wrong premise, so sellers name their product after the query rather than after the thing. That naming is convenient for search traffic and misleading for buyers, because the three products sold under it carry very different risks.

How do you check which one a store is selling?
Read the product page for the words "account", "login" and "credentials". A seller offering a payment instrument never needs any of them. If the checkout asks for your ChatGPT password or a verification code from your email, close the tab.
